Our Work
To study challenges relating to education, healthcare, social protection, women's advancement, youth development, social cohesion, and equal opportunities, and to propose practical solutions.
Politics and Good Governance
Move Forwards seeks to encourage informed discussion on democracy, good governance, devolution and power-sharing, local government, human rights, the rule of law, and meaningful public participation in political decision-making. Our work in this area spans devolution, constitutional affairs, electoral systems, and the effectiveness of public institutions.
Education and Human Capital
School education, higher education, vocational training, English-language skills, information technology, artificial intelligence, and skills required for the future economy. When addressing this work, we examine the situation using credible evidence and reliable data, and engage with affected communities, experts, professionals, and relevant stakeholders to develop practical, realistically implementable solutions.
Women
To promote meaningful participation by women in social, economic, administrative, and political decision-making. Our work in this area centres on economic independence, leadership, safety, opportunity, and representation in decision-making structures.
Land, Livelihoods and Development
Land rights, resettlement, agriculture, fisheries, water resources, infrastructure, and regional development. Where appropriate, we collaborate with government institutions, local authorities, universities, the private sector, civil society organisations, and international institutions to advance this work.

Social Advancement
To study challenges relating to education, healthcare, social protection, women's advancement, youth development, social cohesion, and equal opportunities, and to propose practical solutions. We pursue this through research, data, public dialogue, policy analysis, education, and capacity-building initiatives — going beyond identifying problems to ask, for every challenge: "What is the solution?"
